The mantra I was raised on

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

The mantra I was raised on gave me roots, and Honest Hands Ring Co. is rooted in calloused hands, hard work, and a firm handshake.

After getting engaged, I was frustrated by current offerings of men's wedding bands. I didn't even know if I wanted a ring, let alone flash, gold, or diamonds. If I was going to wear a wedding ring, it was going to be on my own terms. Pairing my trusty 1942 Logan lathe with a fair share of trial-and-error led to the creation of my own perfect ring. Word spread, and I soon started to make rings for friends and family. That hobby has grown into what you see now: simple, lightweight, and tasteful rings - each individually crafted.

Born and raised in Michigan, I will always remain a Michigander. Much of my ring collection is inspired by my childhood camping in Michigan and collecting rocks found on the beach. I now reside in Colorado after falling in love with the mountains and building my own workshop. You can take pride in knowing that each ring is designed, machined, and assembled here in Morrison, CO.

How do I find my ring size?

The most accurate way to find your ring size is by using one of our free ring sizing kits! These kits are a close match to all of the rings we make. Your fingers can change size throughout the day so make sure to try them on a few different times before deciding your size. You can even wear them around for a couple of days to make sure they’re the perfect fit.

You can also visit your local jewelry store to find your ring size. We recommend visiting two different stores to makes sure your sizing is consistent using a comfort fit band in the same width you plan to order.

Avoid using string or a fabric tape measure to measure your ring size, or the common zip tie measuring devices. It’s very important to use the same width ring sizer as the ring you intend to purchase. Learn more about common mistakes or ring sizing by watching our video here.

Updated Wedding Bands

Our new rings are beautiful, and they fit perfectly. My only issue is that they're a little muted. There's more Petoskey stone than copper or greenstone, and with the titanium, it doesn't POP as much as I would have preferred. In hindsight, I might have ordered it in gold.
